545 vs. 300,000,000 Charley Reese has been a journalist for 49 years.
Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits? Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes? You and I don’t propose a federal budget. The president does. You and I don’t have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does. You and I don’t write the tax code, Congress does. You and I don’t set fiscal policy, Congress does. You and I don’t control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does. 100 senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country. I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank. I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don’t care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator’s responsibility to determine how he votes. Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.
The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to. It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted — by present facts — of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can’t think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people.. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist. If the budget is in the red, it’s because they want it in the red If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it’s because they want them in IRAQ If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it’s because they want it that way. There are no insoluble government problems. Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like “the economy,” “inflation,” or “politics” that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do. They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses. Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees. We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess! Remember, we get our chance to vote for Change in 2010. And that just might be our last chance. |

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

You have to tell your Dr. what Rx’s you are taking. And you need to tell them now. They may want you to change something before your procedure. Also research your anti depressants and mood stabilizer yourself so you know what if any adverse effects they have. Also some meds are not good to mix with different foods. I cannot believe the Dr. has not asked you what meds your are taking if you aren’t getting it done in two weeks. Good luck.

yeah its dangerous what if the stove was hot after you where done cooking. what if the stove was on. there is no telling of what could happen but you know it won’t be good!!! so i wouldn’t do that. you are somehow going to have to create space. maybe get a microwave cart to leave on the floor or something. my aunt has a very nice cherry oak microwave cart with wheels. When I try to open a desktop icon the print box pops up. When I right click on the icon I don’t get the normal box that says open, delete etc.

you could try putting what i call a coupler on the piece you cut and use muffler clamps to hold it in place and to put muffler sealant on it but do it where it looks almost professional if you can just sit back and think can i do it this way or should I get it done by a mechanic ,If u can afford to let a mechanic do it than let them instead of taking chances or ask ur friends and ur friends friends for ideas someone may even know how to do it and not charge u alot or nothing u never know until u take that first step . The "thing" on top is called a power chain. I know those are tight and that’s definitely contributing to your soreness. If you leave your elastics on, the pain will eventually go away. Leaving them off and then trying to put them back on later just won’t help. When you have your elastics on, they are working and moving everything into place. The minute you take them off you lose progress. It doesn’t just stay and then work some more when you put them back. It’s like starting over every time. Just wear them all the time, change them 3 times a day, and you’ll get it over with faster. I know it hurts and I’m so sorry! It will get better!

Not sure what previous question you’re referring to, so I am assuming a prenup or something to that affect. I think prenups are perfectly reasonable. Of course we want to believe that marriage will be the happily ever after, but for those of us who have seen people divorce that we never would have expected, you realize that sometimes things just don’t work out. My hubby and I did not end up going the prenup route, but we definitely discussed it openly.

Just connect the wide end of the cable to the bottom of your Sansa and connect the USB end to your computer. Like you’re transferring music. While connected to the PC, the Sansa will charge. Do note that the computer must be on in order to supply power to the USB port and charge the Sansa. It should take about 5 hours to completely charge the Sansa.

I was thinking about starting a scrapbook collection for my final year of high school and college. I love making my own cards and scrapbooks by hand. They appeal to me basically because they seem more personal. Everyone is so hooked on the latest technology that they neglect the simple and creative things that don’t involve technology. If you don’t have the time to do scrapbooking, just work on a little bit at a time. Maybe just use a regular diary instead of a large scrapbook and insert ur favorite quotes, stories, poems, or pictures? I wouldn’t pay too much for a scrapbook- no more than $25. U can get pics and quotes from magazines or print them from the computer. Buy cheap stickers or create ur own stamps (Office Depot and Big Lots have a lot of good supplies), or maybe u can go 2 Joann’s Crafts or Michael’s for lace, beads, or anything u want 2 make ur scrapbook/gifts decorative. Might I also recommend getting the Print Shop cd-rom. This cd has a lot of graphics and features u can use to make ur own cards, labels, and envelopes. Good blessings 2 u! Return your nuvi 200 as soon as possible. It was not loaded with the correct data at the factory. It sounds like they just installed the basemap and forgot to install the detail map for your region. There are no nuvis that ship without a detail map, so there is a problem with your unit.

Mainly because 30 or 40% of the vehicles currently roaming our roads weigh over 4000 lbs and would cause ridiculous fatal damage to a compressed air car….which have to be very light weight because they lack power. Which Sansa do you have? I have a Sansa. You should have a USB cord that connects to your Mp3 Player to the USB port on your computer. You just have to make sure it’s in the MP3 Player and the other end is in the computer. You might get a pop-up that says "What do you want to do?", if not, go to "e:/" and you can drag and drop songs from the folder onto there. This is how I get songs onto mine. Good luck.

first of all you need to have custom firmware on your psp.. 4.01 m33-2 is the best one

not really worth the money. tomtom is just as nice, actually their new models, the 340 and 340s make the 255 cry. and they are less expensive. they have over 1 million poi more than the garmins, have lane guidance and iq routes. none of which a garmin under $399 will have. you can plan routes in advance and save them easier than the garmin too. best buy sells the 340s which is identical to the 255 but better for $229. im sure its cheaper online somewhere.

A friend of mine just had new dentures and she said the dentist told her to wear them all of the time for a few days. She is still swollen so that may be why you "feel" like they are too big. It will just take some time to get used to them. The denture should fit well after the swelling of your gums are down. If not, then tell your dentist for the denture may not be made correctly. Also the dentist can ground down some of the gum line on the denture if you are still uncomfortable after your swelling goes down. Dentures should not hurt after you are healed. They should fit firmly onto your gum. Hope you are feeling better soon and if, in a week, the denture is still not "right" call your dentist. After all, you wouldn’t pay for a dress that doesn’t fit you so don’t pay for teeth that don’t fit correctly either. Good luck to you.

He has become more thriving than ever with his business and it has really help him with a lot of financial problems.Car rentals are one of the best business trends offered that I find amusing so far. I can’t help thinking about cars being borrowed by people you barely know. Although it is a good business, it is rather risky for me since I am a kind of person who his profit.My father used turn down the idea of renting a car from a car rental. He would say that it is to risky since it is not our personal car that we would be renting and using. Although we would be paying for the car, he would still refuse to use it.

If you go into foreclosure, the mortage company will not force you to sell, they’ll take the property and sell it themselves. If you aren’t in foreclosure right now, take the initiative to sell the property and ask for at least what you owe on the loan.
